The internet’s sweetheart shoe brand aka Jeffrey Campbell is about to release a line of bags and purses. The first lookbook called “Girls we hated in high school” is already out. This means one thing: Get ready to see these bags plastered all over the internet. After the tornado that was the Litas, this brand has full cred among the fashion bloggers.

However, I am not sure the bags will rock as hard as their plats, but after seeing the pictures I know for sure they will outfringe every single purse in our repertoire. Jeffrey Campbell is also fantastic at creating catchy ideas that spread as fire. “Girls we hated in high school” however, is a concept that brings back powerful bad memories of jealousy and cat fights, and it brings me down to think that this is the feeling they want to convey with their new line. It is disheartening because I truly believe girls can be a powerful force when banded together, and that we should quickly dismiss all those ideas that foster being mean to one another. But I do admit that for a moment there, I thought that if jealousy looks as pretty as this, then its one reason to cast away all of our girl power manifestos and get ready to sell our souls to the devil.
